Contributions to Central Arizona Shelter Services, Inc. (CASS), a qualifying charitable organization, are eligible for the Arizona Credit for Contributions to Charities that Provide Assistance to the Working Poor. The State of Arizona allows a taxpayer to receive a tax credit of up to $200 ($400 if married filing jointly) when a donation is made to any qualifying nonprofit agency serving the basic needs of low income people. CASS is a qualifying organization for this tax credit.
